Installation
The Binary4 is a DIN-rail device (MDRC) for the electrical cabinet. It mounts on a 35 mm rail (EN 60715).
Connections
- Inputs 1-4: the input terminal block on the top edge.
- KNX bus: the red/black bus terminal on the bottom edge (− +).
Screw terminals take 0.5-2.5 mm², torque max. 0.4 N·m. For the full ratings, see the Datasheet.
Mounting and wiring
- Clip the device onto the DIN rail.
- Wire your contacts to the input terminals.
- Connect the KNX bus to the bus terminal.
The device scans its inputs at more than 12 V DC with an input current of 0.7 mA. Keep each run to 100 m or less at a cross section of 1.5 mm².
WARNING
The inputs supply their own scanning voltage. Connect floating (dry) contacts only.
