Addressing

A DALI master can control the driver only after the driver has a DALI address. In the factory state the driver has no address, and the display shows FF.

Automatically

The SmartCore, or any other DALI master, scans the bus and gives the driver its address. In the SmartCore Web Interface, use the DALI Configurator. While the master assigns addresses, the display shows AU.

Manually on the driver

1. Press and hold the 0-6 button until the display flashes, then release it.
2. Press the 0-6 button to set the tens digit and the 0-9 button to set the units digit, from 00 to 63.
3. Press and hold either button until the display stops flashing. The driver saves the address.

Good to know

• Select the mode first, then set the address.
• A two-address mode (T.c, H.6) uses two addresses in a row. If you set the address to 22, the driver takes 22 and 23. A scan finds it as two devices. The highest address you can set in these modes is 62.
