Lunatone DALI Cockpit

For advanced DALI-2 workflows beyond what the Atios web interface exposes, your Atios SmartCore can present itself as a network-accessible DALI interface that Lunatone's DALI Cockpit software can connect to. This gives you full DALI-2 diagnostics, bus monitoring, and parameter access — while your day-to-day configuration stays in the simpler Atios web UI.

When you might need this

The built-in DALI Configurator covers addressing, grouping, scene creation, fading times, and DT8 colour/tunable-white control. Reach for Lunatone DALI Cockpit when you need one of the following:

  • Advanced DALI-2 or DT6 commissioning commands not exposed in the web UI
  • Bus traffic monitoring and recording (DALI Monitor) for diagnosing faults

What you need

  • An Atios SmartCore on your local network
  • A Windows PC on the same network (DALI Cockpit is Windows-only)
  • Lunatone DALI Cockpit — free download from lunatone.com

Connecting SmartCore to DALI Cockpit

  1. Open SmartCore's Web Interface and enable DALI IP Interface under System settings. SmartCore will now expose itself on your local network as a Lunatone DALI IoT Device.
  2. Install and open Lunatone DALI Cockpit on your Windows PC.
  3. In Cockpit, add a new DALI Bus Interface and choose Lunatone DALI IoT Device.
  4. Your SmartCore appears in the list of discovered devices. Select it to connect.
  5. From here, you can run the full DALI-2 feature set that Cockpit supports — addressing, grouping, scene generation, DALI command sending, and live bus monitoring.

Your main configuration stays in SmartCore

Your Accessory Manager setup, Matter pairing, and everyday control still live in SmartCore's Web Interface. DALI Cockpit is an additional path for advanced DALI-level work — it doesn't replace the main platform.

Atios KNX Bridge

The DALI IP Interface feature is currently available on Atios SmartCore only. If you need advanced DALI-2 workflows on an Atios KNX Bridge installation, contact support.
