Enabling Remote Access

Before enabling Remote Access, set up KNX Secure first. See KNX Secure for instructions.

Prerequisites

KNX Secure: IP Secure and Data Secure must be configured first. See KNX Secure.
ETS 6.3 or higher for the Cloud Interface.
ETS 6.4 or higher for Access Tokens.
Outbound internet access: the device must be able to reach https://*.atios.ch on port 443.

Enabling the KNX IP Interface

Open the Web Interface by connecting to your device here and navigate to KNX Settings.
Under KNX Interfaces, toggle the IP Interface on.

Setup

1. Enable Cloud Interface

In the Web Interface, navigate to KNX Settings and enable the Cloud Interface toggle. This toggle is only available when IP Interface, IP Secure, and Data Secure are all enabled.

2. Configure Access

Choose who is allowed to connect remotely. See Configuring Access for the two options: everyone with the ETS project ToolKey, or individual Access Tokens only.
