KNX Remote Access

KNX Remote Access allows you to securely access your KNX installation remotely.

Before enabling Remote Access, set up KNX Secure first. See KNX Secure for instructions.

Requirements

• ETS 6.3 or higher for the Cloud Interface
• ETS 6.4 or higher for Access Tokens
• The KNX Bridge must have outbound access to https://*.atios.ch on port 443

Setup

1. Enable Cloud Interface

In the Web Interface, navigate to KNX Settings and enable the Cloud Interface toggle. This toggle is only available when IP Interface, IP Secure, and Data Secure are all enabled.

2. Configure Access

Option A: Everyone with access to the ETS project

Enable Access with ToolKey. Anyone with access to the ETS project file can connect remotely.

Option B: Access Tokens only

Disable Access with ToolKey and create Access Tokens directly in the Web Interface. Each token can have an expiration date or be left open-ended. Tokens can be individually activated or deactivated to control access at any time.
