Choosing your connection
Ethernet (recommended)
Ethernet gives you a stable, high-speed wired connection.
To use Ethernet:
- Connect an Ethernet cable from your network to the LAN port on WiserPort
- Optional: Connect to your WiserPort here to open the Web Interface, then go to Network Settings and choose your IP configuration (DHCP or Static)
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi gives you a wireless connection when Ethernet is not available. When using Wi-Fi only, power the device with a 20-30 V DC supply.
Connection Details
The Connection Details panel shows WiserPort's current network status.
