Troubleshooting
Cannot access the Web Interface
Check the device IP address: the gateway's IP address can be found in your router's DHCP client list. Try opening http://<ip-address>/app/ in your browser.
Check network connectivity: make sure your computer is on the same local network as the gateway. The gateway connects over Ethernet only, so verify the network cable and switch (or PoE port).
Try a reboot: if the device is unreachable, reboot it and reconnect. If the issue persists, boot into safe mode (keep the Reset Button pressed during reboot until the Power LED is solid yellow).
DALI bus shows as disconnected
Check that the DALI power supply is connected and powered on. If you are using the gateway's internal DALI power supply, enable the DALI power supply option in the DALI section of System Settings. If you are using an external DALI supply, make sure the internal one is disabled so the two do not conflict.
The DALI Status LED shows the bus state at a glance: solid green means the bus is powered and connected, solid red means there is no DALI bus power, and solid yellow indicates a bus overload.
DALI lights not discovered by the DALI Wizard
Check the wiring and polarity: confirm each luminaire is wired to the DALI terminal and that the bus is powered.
Check the bus load: the gateway supports up to 64 control gear on one bus. A bus that is overloaded or has too many devices may fail to enumerate all of them.
Re-run the wizard: open the DALI Configurator and run the DALI Wizard again to re-scan the bus.
DALI lights not responding from KNX
Verify the group address binding: confirm that the KNX group addresses assigned to your DALI lights and groups in ETS match the ones your KNX switches and sensors send to.
Check the KNX bus connection: in the Web Interface under KNX, the physical address should be shown (e.g. 15.15.255). If the status shows disconnected, check the KNX TP bus wiring at the gateway's KNX terminal.
Re-download the application: if you changed the DALI configuration, re-download the application program from ETS so the new bindings take effect.
ETS programming fails or the device does not come back
Wait for the reboot: programming a device triggers a reboot, which can take up to a minute. Refresh the Web Interface after waiting.
Do not program immediately after a firmware update: wait at least 2 minutes after a firmware install before programming in ETS. Programming too early reverts the device to the previous firmware version.
Download the physical address first: download the physical address of the gateway before the full application program. Activate Programming Mode with a quick double press of the Reset Button (Power LED turns solid red) or via the Web Interface.
RGBW DALI strip does not show colour control
Most LED-strip drivers are not DT8-capable, even if the strip itself supports RGBW. Without DT8, colour control cannot be exposed.
Use a DT8-capable driver: confirm the DALI driver in the fixture supports DT8. The datasheet lists DT8 colour control as tunable white (Kelvin) and RGB/HSV.
Needs confirmation
The KNX-side colour mapping detail (HSV datapoint maps to XY on DALI, no separate dimming address, RGBWAF not yet supported) is not covered by the gateway sources.

Firmware update not available
If the firmware update button is greyed out or shows a locked message, your device may be locked to a specific firmware version by your installer. Contact support@atios.ch to request an unlock.
